It’s Shorts Season
If any knows me they know from May to October I wear shorts with everything. What I am super psyched about is there is no shortage (pun intended) of amazing options. For that reason, I am rounding up my favorites from denim to sweats and offering some style suggestions to style them every which way until winter!
THE DENIM SHORT
I literally wear denim shorts with EVERYTHING and my hunt for the perfect pair never ends. I love the AGOLDE Parker Short (who doesn’t?). I am also loving these from Abercrombie. Super affordable and are often on sale! My favorite summer look is a pair of denim cutoffs with a feminine top or cami and blazer. Throw on a cute strappy sandal with a moderate heel and you’re done.
THE PAPER BAG SHORT
You have heard me talk about this style before, I even included them on my Top 10 Spring Must Have post. I just purchased two colors in this style from H&M and I cannot wait to get them. I also love these from Cupcakes & Cashmere . The trick with this style is to pair them pack to something a bit more fitted on top and tuck it in to show off the cute elastic detail. As for shoes, I have paired them with everything from sneakers to western boots!
THE BERMUDA SHORT
Not going to lie, these remind me of my college days when I would were super baggy ones with a sorority sweatshirt and birks with wool socks….OY! But I am sort of into the slimmer more updated version of the season. Love the denim style (not sure if I can pull these off) but paired with a super oversized blazer and loafer….LOVE! I also saw these on ZARA and I am a little obsessed with this look! Maybe I will try them this fall with a tall boot and silky blouse.
THE SWEAT SHORT
An obvious choice after all of the months we have spent in joggers and sweatpants. I am finding so many cute ones that I can’t decide which to choose. Love this vintage style from Urban Outfitters and who can beat these from Amazon for $20. I also have every color of this one from H&M in my cart (they are $13). Someone please stop me from shopping there…. it’s become a problem.
